Coimbatore-based Astral Management Consultants completed 25 years of service recently.
At a party organised to mark the occassion, noted speaker on spiritual and cultural practices, Dushyanth Sridhar, gave a lecture on 'Business Practices from Ancient Scriptures'.
Incorporated as a private limited company in 1992, Astral specialises in auditing, consulting, outsourcing and information system services, offering such services to its clients in about 40 locations across India through its associate offices.
D. Purushothaman, Director, Astral Consulting, said as part of its silver jubilee initiative, Astral had launched a single-window service whereby any corporate would be able to get 70+ services under one roof. “This offering would benefit customers with multiple branches,” he said.
Claiming that the firm had many firsts to its credit, he said “we were the first firm from Coimbatore and one of the very few firms in India to focus entirely on internal audit, first to start a BPO - way back in the early 90s - one of the few firms to focus on Information Systems and Security and probably, the first audit firm to get an ISO certification in Coimbatore.
Astral has serviced clients in Bangladesh, Dubai, Egypt, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Riyadh, South Africa, Brazil, Nigeria, Singapore, Russia and Taiwan.
