The Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO), in association with India Seatrade, will conduct a ‘Cargo Connexions Conclave’ on February 8 at the Residency Towers in Coimbatore. N Sivasailam, Special Secretary (Logistics), Ministry of Commerce, will be the chief guest and Ranjan Routary, Chief Commissioner of Customs, Tiruchi, the guest of honour.
According to a FIEO release, the conclave will discuss the southern hinterland connectivity and future scope and needs for logistic infrastructure in and around Coimbatore with projections in exim cargo. It is also expected to address the challenges confronting exim cargo, logistics and shipping industry and lay a roadmap for a well-established logistics infrastructure.
