Kerala Travel Mart has demanded the State Government to include travel and tourism sectors in the proposed bill against hartals.
According to KTM President Johny Abraham, the government has not yet taken steps for the repeated demands for exemption of tourism sector from hartals and bandhs.
Since tourism contributes a major part of the State’s revenue, he said the sector has affected badly due to lightning strikes, impacting package tours.
