Pune-based Kolte-Patil Developers has secured three society redevelopment projects in the Western suburbs of Mumbai.
Redevelopment involves construction of the entire project in agreement with the resident societies of the buildings. The builder profits by selling the additional floor space index (the total area permissible for construction over a given plot of land) on the premises after handing over the equivalent built up space held of each existing owner and tenant of the complex.
The projects are in Khar, Malad and Goregaon.
With this, the developer has six projects in Mumbai with its share of the total saleable area totalling about six lakh sqft.
Sujay Kalele, CEO, Kolte-Patil Developers, said, “In a short span of time we have established ourselves as one of the largest listed real estate developers in the society redevelopment space. We will continue to expand in Mumbai through suitable redevelopment projects.”
