A Revanth Reddy, Telangana Telugu Desam Party MLA, has been granted a conditional bail for 12 hours to enable him to attend his daughter’s engagement function on June 11.
The court has granted him a bail for 12 hours from 6 am to 6 pm on Thursday but has laid conditions that include he should not interact with politicians and media personnel.
Reddy was arrested last week on the cash-for-vote scam that is rocking the State. He is now under custody till June 15. He had earlier undergone questioning by the sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau for four days, which ended on Tuesday.
He has been accused of seeking to bribe nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson.
