The apex trade body for solar energy in the country, National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI), has announced an alliance with Solar GCC Alliance (www.solargcc.com) and Saudi Arabia Solar Association (www.saudi–sia.com) for collaborative partnership for technical and commercial promotion of member industries.
The meeting was held between the officials of Saudi Arabia Solar Association led by Executive Director Browning Rockwell and NSEFI officials, including Chairman Pranav Mehta, in New Delhi on April 9.
Commenting on the development, Mehta said, “The officials discussed on various aspects of synergy between the two associations and collaborative relationship in the ares of solar energy.”
It was agreed that Solar GCC Alliance/Saudi Arabic Solar Association will source Engineering, Design and EPC work from Indian companies. Collaboration in solar manufacturing between GCC companies and Indian manufacturing companies will also be promoted as joint ventures.
