The final decision on the Cauvery dispute will be taken by the Prime Minister's Office, Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti said here on Thursday. She said her Ministry is awaiting intimation from the PMO to take the next step. "The PM is in touch with the chief ministers," she added.
On the Polavaram project, she said the Centre is for the timely completion of the project. The Minister said she has sought separate funds for Polavaram and maintained that the rehabilitation of the affected people will be done along the lines of the Sardar Sarovar model.
