JSP Hospitals, a unit of Deepam Group of Hospitals, is setting up a multi-specialty hospital at Mahindra World City, Chennai.
The 40-bed hospital will offer a variety of specialisations, including general medicine, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics and cardiology. The hospital will also be equipped with a full-fledged ICU and diagnostic facilities, the release said.
The first phase will offer an outpatient department and a 24-hour emergency clinic along with a range of diagnostics facilities. It will be functional by July 2013. The hospital is expected to be fully operational by July 2014.
Mahindra World City is an integrated business city with distinct zones for industrial, residential, social, retail and commercial operations.
Around 61 global companies including BMW, Infosys, Fujitec, TVS Group and Ingersoll Rand have set up their facilities within Mahindra World City.
