Residential builder Puravankara is all set to redefine the home living experience with the launch a new residential line - BluNex Life - intelligent next-gen homes for home buyers across the country. BluNex Life would give home buyers and residents a distinct edge by converting their homes into smart homes.

Ashish R Puravankara, Managing Director, Puravankara Ltd, said BluNex Life is in line with the company's vision of providing intelligent homes to new home buyers looking for more smart and safety features to stay contemporary.

The builder plans to collaborate with Google to integrate residential units with Google Home devices. Claiming the venture to be the first of its kind in India, the MD said homes with pre-installed Google Home devices would allow residents to convert their living spaces into voice-enabled smart homes, giving the resident control over compatible smart home appliances, listen to music on demand, stay on top of their day-to-day activities and bring the power of the Google Assistant into their homes.

The builder proposes to provide smart home solutions at several of its existing and upcoming projects across the country.

“We foresee this line (BluNex Life) as the next big leap in home automation. While India has been at the cutting edge of technology integration at the work place, we have not been early adopters in home automation. Our in-house R&D cell has been looking into methodologies that would allow seamless integration of open architecture technologies into traditional brick & mortar homes. As a first step, we are collaborating with Google to seamlessly integrate the Google Home, enabling intuitive control of fixtures and home appliances,” he said, about Puravankara's collaboration with Google.

The company plans to launch smart pre-defined home solutions across its new and on-going projects in Bengaluru in the first phase. “The solution would be extended to our existing customers in the second phase for a nominal price. We are also planning to launch such smart homes in other cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mangalore and Goa,” he added.
