Bibin Babu and Jayakanthan from Tata Consultancy Services emerged as champions of the Chennai round in the 16th edition of The Hindu Business Line Cerebration business quiz presented by Union Bank of India and powered by BSNL.
The duo won a cash prize of ₹10,000, and will participate in the grand finale to be held in Mumbai on September 22.
Cognizant Technologies and Tiger Analytics emerged as runners-up.
BusinessLine editor Raghavan Srinivasan along with SK Mohapatra, General Manager, Union Bank of India, presented the award to the winning team.
The second prize was presented by Murali Krishnan, General Manager, BSNL, Chennai region, and third by Deepak Garg, General Manager, Commercial, BSNL.
Fifty-four teams of two members each participated in the Chennai round of the quiz, which began with a preliminary test of 20 questions.
Six teams — TCS, Cognizant Technologies, Hexaware Technologies, Tiger Analytics, IIT Madras and Ford India — made it to the finals. After four rounds of some tough quizzing, the team from TCS emerged victorious.

This year the unique business quiz will be held across six cities: Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
