Danone Narang Beverages has announced the national launch of B’lue, a restoration drink. It is available in Apple, Peach and Guava flavours in a 500 ml pet bottle priced at Rs 30. It is not carbonated and claims not to contain caffeine, preservatives or artificial colours.

McCain Foods India has introduced a new cheese-based appetiser called Potato Cheese Shotz. They are crispy, bite-sized nuggets of potato and cheese seasoned with herbs and coated with bread crumbs. Priced at Rs 99 for a 250 gm pack, the product is available at all major retail outlets and modern trade stores.

Dove has introduced the new Split End Rescue System, comprising shampoo and conditioner. It claims to incorporatae a breakthrough split-end technology with Fiber active to help bring split ends together. The shampoo is available in several pack sizes and prices begin at Rs 68. The conditioner is priced Rs 68 for a 75 ml pack and Rs 132 for a 170 ml pack.
Bronchial care
i2iHealth has launched LungFlute, a device to provide relief to patients suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), pneumonia, asthma and bronchiectasis. It is meant to clear mucus from congested lungs with low-frequency sound waves. The device consists of a mouthpiece and a plastic reed which vibrates within a chamber to create sound waves in the chest cavity. It can also be used to provide an effective method to induce a deep lung secretion sample to test for diseases such as TB, lung cancer and pneumonia. It is priced Rs 1,800 for a pack of five reeds usable over a period of six months and is available in all the major metros.
