Rudrama Devi, a period film based on the life of the Kakatiya ruler in the 12th century, will get waiver of Entertainment Tax in Telangana.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao has directed Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to issue an order waiving the tax for the film that depicted the life and times of the warrior. He made this assurance after film’s director Gunasekhar met him on Thursday.
The film, reportedly made with a budget of Rs 70 crore, has generated huge interest in the film industry.
