This is a compilation of Khushwant Singh’s translation of two sacred prayers of the Sikhs. The Japji, composed by Guru Nanak, appears at the beginning of the Guru Granth Sahib and is recited every morning. The Rehras, a prayer of thanksgiving, is recited in the evening. It contains hymns composed by Guru Nanak, Guru Amar Das, Guru Ram Das, Guru Arjun and Guru Gobind Singh. Classic illustrations by Mohit Suneja add to the book’s beauty.
