Warner Bros. Pictures, Bhanushali Studios Ltd and JOAT Films have announced an exclusive five-film strategic partnership. The partnership will focus on developing Indian adaptations of iconic titles of Warner Bros. Pictures.

This partnership allows us to combine our storytelling heritage with exceptional local talent to create films that will resonate profoundly with Indian audiences while maintaining the universal appeal that defines great cinema.”

Warner Bros. Pictures will spearhead the global distribution, which reflects the studio’s global vision for this venture. For the first title is currently underway, and details regarding the creative teams and production timelines will be revealed soon, the official statement added.

Jack Nguyen of JOAT Films will co-produce the titles under his existing first-look deal with Warner Bros. Pictures. A veteran with over 30-years of experience and having worked with Warner Bros. Pictures, Nguyen specialises in Asian productions
