Dutch designer Daan Roosegaarde has turned 18th Century windmills in The Netherlands into art installations by connecting the structures with moving laser beams. Roosegaarde and his team used special software and tracking technology to detect the rotating blades. 'Windlicht’ (or Windlight), as the work is called, has been described by the designer as a dance of bright lines COURTESY: ROOSEGAARDE
