Big moment : When India’s largest stainless-steel manufacturer signed an MoU for supply of thousands of tonnes of scrap worth multi-million dollars per month.
Impact : Increased import and processing of metal scrap in India will improve the scrap ratio of Indian metal manufacturers and make Indian metal products more competitive. It will also reduce pollution during the production process and consume less energy.
