India accounts for about 330 of the 10,000 Boeing 737 aircraft that have been produced so far. The manufacturer calls it the “workhorse.”

Boeing claims that the 737 became the first-ever commercial jet airplane to surpass the 10,000 orders milestone in July 2012 when United Airlines ordered 100 737 MAX 9s and 50 Next-Generation 737-900ERs (Extended Range). Incidentally, 10,000 737s stacked on top of one another will be approximately 406,000 ft or 77 miles (124 km) high. This is equivalent to 149 Burj Khalifas, the tallest building in the world, stacked on top of one another or 274 Petronas Twin Towers or 382 Eiffel Towers or 280 Empire State Buildings.
