1. Hydration : I’m not a morning person, so I rely on hydration to start my day — two glasses of water with collagen, sometimes lemon or ginger. Since giving up caffeine, this has been essential. I also do 2–3 minutes of deep breathing to reset and focus.

2. Diet: Dairy intake is minimal, as it’s harder to digest with age. I don’t count calories — I simply stop eating before I feel too full. I listen to my body and adjust. Balance is key — no food group is off-limits.

3. Workout: I’ve tried various workouts — boxing, CrossFit, yoga, Pilates, and now callisthenics. The learning? Form matters. I currently do strength training thrice a week, adding a barre for smaller muscle groups, and yoga for flexibility. I aim for 7,000–10,000 steps daily.

4. Nature: It helps reset — whether it’s a trek in Ladakh or 30 quiet minutes in a park. I also practise box breathing twice a day to stay centred and calm.

5. Lavender oil: I wind down with a book and a calming drink of nutmeg, saffron, and raisins in warm water —along with magnesium and lavender oil for restful sleep.
