Suzlon Energy on Thursday informed the exchanges of bagging a repeat turnkey order from an independent power producer for setting up a 58.80-MW capacity wind power project in Madhya Pradesh. The project comprises 28 units of hybrid towers with rated capacity of 2.1 MW each and is expected to be completed by March. As part of the order, Suzlon Energy will offer wind turbine supply, construction, and maintenance services for the project over a period of 12 years. Suzlon Energy said the project is capable of powering 32,000 households and reduce 120,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per annum. Shares of Suzlon Energy edged down 0.55 per cent at ₹18.10 on the NSE.
