Ahmedabad-based software firm Mastek has posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 7 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. It had posted a profit of Rs 15 crore in the same period last year. The company, which follows a July-June financial year, saw its total income drop 11 per cent in the third quarter to Rs 152.53 crore. For the nine-month period ended March 31, Mastek announced a consolidated net loss of Rs 48 crore against a net profit of Rs 65 crore in the previous fiscal. Total income fell 18 per cent to Rs 456 crore. Mastek shares on the BSE were down 4.15 per cent to Rs 120.15 on Friday.
