India’s second-largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto today reported an 18 per cent jump in sales in September to 4,17,686 units.
It had sold 3,52,769 units in the corresponding month last year, the Pune-based company said in a statement here.
Two-wheeler sales stood at 3,71,208 units in the reporting month as against 3,14,515 last September, translating into a 8 per cent jump, while commercial vehicle sales rose to 46,478 units as against 38,254 units, logging in a 21 per cent growth.
Exports grew by 39 per cent to 1,41,913 units from 1,01,960 units, it said.
