Bajaj Electricals that makes appliances, fans and lighting products has entered into a partnership with Vector Consulting Group to revamp its supply chain.
Under the tie-up, Vector Consulting Group will assist Bajaj Electricals in streamlining vendor and supply chains and trade management with the use of its Theory of Constraints (TOC) solutions.
“The solution will help all the suppliers and channel partners of Bajaj Electricals to substantially improve their inventory turns. It will help Bajaj Electricals to penetrate the market with full reach and range,” Vector Consulting Group Founding Director, Mr Puneet Kulraj, said in a statement.
With the new tie-up the company aims to improve fill rates, reduce stock outs, reduce inventories and increase return on investment for dealers.
Vector Consulting Group engages with organisations to bring about improvements in sales and bottom line using the supply chain as the key leverage.
Bajaj Electricals has a turnover of Rs 2,252 crore and is a part of the Rs 30,000 crore Bajaj Group.
The company has six business units — engineering and projects, appliances, fans, luminaries, lighting and Morphy Richards, the statement added.
