Industrial gas company BOC India Ltd (BOCI) has been re-branded as Linde India Ltd. Already a member of the Linde Group, the company on Friday announced its official re-branding took place on February 18. Linde AG acquired the BOC Group in September 2006.
According to Bernd Eulitz, Regional Business Unit Head for Linde’s gases business in South & East Asia said, "India is a very important market for The Linde Group and we are very positive about the many exciting opportunities we see here. We will continue to earmark capital to further invest in India to enlarge our geographical footprint and extend our production and distribution capabilities.”
