Deepak Nitrite Ltd, manufacturer of speciality, fine and other chemicals, has restructured its operations into strategic business units (SBUs) to intensify its focus on individual businesses.
In a statement here, the Vadodara-based listed company said it would now have three SBUs for bulk speciality chemicals, fine chemicals and fluorescent whitening agents. This will enable the company to categorise products which are synergistic in nature.
Accordingly, Ajay Patwardhan will be President SBU of FWAs and Ajit Bagade of BSCs. Appointment of President for fine chemicals segment is under progress.
Deepak Nitrite has increased its revenue four-fold over the last decade and aims to double it in the next three to four years, the company added.
