FMCG major Emami Ltd is looking to consolidate Zandu’s leading position in the balm category.
Accordingly, Zandu Balm has been re-introduced with an advanced formulation offering faster pain solution.
The new balm, Emami said in a release, is suited to tackle pains arising out of a change in lifestyles.
The balm category in India is valued at over Rs 800 crore, and is growing at 4 per cent (volume growth) every year.
“We believe that the new and improved Zandu Balm, with its unique non-sticky formulation, will emerge as an effective and faster pain relief solution to our existing and potential consumers,” Mohan Goenka, Director, Emami Ltd, said in a release.
The launch of the new Zandu Balm would be supported by an aggressive communication plan that highlights the improved qualities of the product.
