Greenpark Hotels & Resorts Ltd., which owns and manages a chain of hospitality projects, is set to launch Marigold, a five star property located in Hyderabad shortly and another project in Kakinada early next year.
The company, which now has three Greenpark projects in Hyderabad with 148 rooms, Chennai (171 rooms) and Visakhapatnam (100 rooms), is set to take its inventory up to 736 rooms by next year and 616 rooms by September-October, with the addition of Marigold project, Mr. Mohan Krishna, Vice President of Green Park Hotels & Resorts Ltd., said.
Speaking to Business Line, Mr. Mohan Krishna said that the company is also in the process of finalising plans to set up two more properties-one in Mumbai and Pune. The company plan is to cover all of South India with our properties.
The Marigold property, which will have 187 rooms, is an effort to retain and upgrade the company’s loyal customers who have been with us for nearly two decades in Hyderabad and other locations.
The Marigold project has been set up with an outlay of Rs.70 crore and the Kakinada project will come up with an investment of about Rs.40 crore.
Marigold will have a large convention section of 20,000 sq.ft and will be an important addition for the company chain.
