The US-based hotel operator Hyatt has launched the first Hyatt Place hotel in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, today. It is the fifth Hyatt Place hotel in India. Hyatt Place Rameswaram, developed by JKR Enterprise Ltd, is situated in the heart of Rameswaram, an important religious destination, according to a press release. Kurt Straub, Hyatt’s Vice-President of Operations, India, said in the press release: “The opening of Hyatt Place Rameswaram is a significant milestone for the Hyatt Place brand as it continues to expand in India and across the globe.” Sharda Deepa, Managing Director, JKR Enterprise, quoted in the press release: “We are delighted to announce the opening of Hyatt Place Rameswaram in South India. The Hyatt Place brand offers an innovative service concept and a modern design.”
