L’Oreal India MD Aseem Kaushik with DPIIT, Joint Secretary, Sanjiv
L’Oreal India has inked a memorandum of understanding with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) to enhance collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship, specifically within the beauty and personal care ecosystem.
The partnership aims to identify and support high-potential startups working on cutting-edge solutions in areas such as sustainable packaging, beauty tech, inclusive beauty, and anti-counterfeiting. “As part of this initiative, L’Oréal India aims to host the Big Bang Beauty Tech Innovation Program on the Startup India Portal, offering selected startups mentorship, market access, and potential pilot opportunities,” an official statement added.
Sanjiv, Joint Secretary, DPIIT, emphasised the importance of industry partnerships in driving innovation-led growth and reiterated DPIIT’s commitment to enabling meaningful engagement between global companies and Indian startups.
