Multi-brand car workshop company, Mahindra First Choice Services Ltd, has launched its second outlet in Hyderabad, along with its first technical training centre here.
This is the company's 12th outlet in the country.
A wholly owned subsidiary of the diversified automotive major Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, the company plans to increase the number of these outlets across the country to 40 by this fiscal-end, while setting up more training centres.
Addressing a press conference here today, Mr Rajeev Dubey, President (Group HR) and member of Group Executive Board, M&M, said: “These multi-brand outlets are designed to serve as one-stop-shop for any car which needs to be serviced and repaired. This is part of the strategy to address the after-market requirements of car owners craving for local service outlets.’’
“The first technical centre established here seeks to provide training to personnel to be absorbed in these outlets as car service technicians. For the West and Andhra Pradesh, this will be first such centre. We plan to set up four centres across the country as we expand our network,’’ Mr Y.V.S. Vijay Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra First Choice, said.
