MedPlus, the pharmacy chain with 1,300 outlets across the country, has opened an online window to provide access to clinical laboratory tests.
The firm, which registered a turnover of Rs 1,350 crore, is expecting revenues of Rs 1,800 crore this financial year.
MedPlus founder CEO Madhukar Gangadi said users can choose time slots to let MedPlus staff to come and collect samples.
Madhukar said the diagnostic market in the country was at Rs 14,500 crore, growing at a CAGR (Compounded Annual Growth Rate) of 18 p. C.
"But majority of the business is in the unorganised sector," he said.
The firm already launched an e-pharmacy that contributed about 10 per cent to the company's revenues.
