Hyderabad-headquartered retail pharmacy chain MedPlus, on Wednesday, launched its e-commerce service, ‘Click. Pick & Save, in the Delhi-National Capital Region.
The online service will offer 1,00,000 medicines where consumers can book their medicines and pick these up from a MedPlus store nearby. Alternatively, the prescription can be uploaded online for home delivery. Consumers can also read facts about the usage, side effects and precautions as also compare the medicines with an alternative brand, the company said.
The company said orders will be made available to customers within three-four business hours and an SMS alert will be sent when the order is ready for pick-up from the store or for home delivery.
“We are looking to set up over 400 MedPlus stores across the region over the next couple of years and invest over Rs 100 crore to expand our operations here,” Madhukar Gangadi , Founder and CEO of MedPlus Health services, said at the launch event here.
First introduced in Hyderabad in March this year, the service is currently available in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar.
