Muthoot Finance has been named MoneyGram’s ‘Best Sub Agent’ in the South Asian region for the third consecutive year.
The award was presented to George Alexander Muthoot, Managing Director, Muthoot Finance Ltd, by Grant Lines, Senior Vice-President, MoneyGram (South Asia & Middle East, Asia Pacific), in the presence of Harsh Lambha, Senior Regional Director, South Asia Region, and Thomas Cook officials. Thomas Cook is the principal agent of MoneyGram.
Muthoot Finance’s money transfer service is recognised as the largest payout centre in India with 2 million transfers being executed annually. It conducted 20 lakh transactions worth Rs 3,500 crore across all its branches last year, a statement issued here said.
