Nalco has been awarded the gold award in Premier Trading House category in the first Eastern Region Export Excellence Award 2012-13 by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations. Its exports stood at Rs 3,380.93 crore.
Tata Steel got the silver award in the category with its Rs 1,997.90-crore exports earnings.
In the Star Trading House category, Rohit Ferro Tech Ltd (exports Rs 960.26 crore) and Balasore Alloys — MSME sub-set — (exports Rs 421.83 crore) bagged the gold awards. Nagarika Exports in Trading House (exports Rs 505.27 crore) segment got the gold award.
The gold award in Star Export House segment has been bagged by Mortex (exports Rs 523 crore). Gold in the same category’s MSME sub-segment went to Linc Pen and Plastics (exports Rs 90 crore).
