State-run NLC India on Saturday said it has received a Letter of Award from NTPC Limited for setting up of a 450 MW wind-solar hybrid power project from NTPC .
Under the contract, NLC will set up a 450 MW ISTS connected power project and supply hybrid power generated from the said project to NTPC Limited for a period of 25 years under a Power Purchase Agreement.
“The project shall be developed at the following locations -Bikaner, Rajasthan (300 MW) and Bhuj, Gujarat (150 MW)“ NLC said in an exchange filing. The Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date (SCSD) for supplying power from the full project capacity shall be within a period of 24 months from the date of the PPA, it added.
