The 65th Joint Committee on Safety, Health and Environment in Steel Industry (JCSSI) meeting stressed on frameworks to ensure safety and health aspects of the workers in steel plants. The meeting, which was held at Durgapur Steel Plant on April 8, discussed how a stronger framework can be built to ensure that ‘both the contractors and the steel plants pay attention on safety of their workers'.
