Mr Prakash Kumar Singh will take over as the Chief Executive Officer of Durgapur Steel Plant from May 1, a SAIL communiqué said here on Monday. An alumnus of IIT, Roorkee, in metallurgical engineering, Mr Singh’s immediate earlier stint was at Bhilai Steel Plant as Executive Director (Works). He started his career in SAIL at its Bokaro Steel Plant in 1980. Subsequently, he worked in IISCO Steel Plant, Durgapur Steel Plant and Bokaro Steel Plant.
