Liquor maker Radico Khaitan has registered an 81.2 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 17.4 crore for the fourth-quarter ended March 31, 2011, as compared to Rs 9.6 crore in the same period last fiscal. Net sales during the quarter rose to Rs 333.8 crore as compared to Rs 297.7 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
For the year ended March 31, 2011, the company posted a net profit of Rs 72.8 crore, compared to Rs 41.5 crore in the previous fiscal. Net sales rose to Rs 1,330.6 crore during the year ended March 31, 2011, as against Rs 1,147.1 crore in the previous fiscal.
Shares of Radico Khaitan closed at Rs 138.35 on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Wednesday, down 0.57 per cent on their previous close.
