Mixed trend was witnessed in edible oils on Friday. On BCE, Palmolein gained by ₹4 on duty hike rumours while soya and sunflower oil rule unchanged. Indigenous groundnut, sunflower and cotton refined oil declined by ₹5 each in absence of demand. Sources said during the day resellers off loaded about 300 tonnes palmolein at ₹714-717. Allana sold about 600 tonnes palmolein for April at ₹725. Liberty: Palmolein Ex Shapur ₹745 for March. Super palmolein ₹770 for March and Sunflower refined oil ₹790 for March.

Allana: Palmolein Ex JNPT ₹735 for March and Ex Khapoli ₹745 for April. Sunflower refined oil ₹800 for March. Ruchi: Soya oil ₹780 for 25 March and Sunflower refi.oil ₹775 for 25 March. Golden agri : Palmolein ex JNPT ₹730 for 30 April and Ex STC ₹732 for 15 April. Groundnut prices were ₹670-770. Soyabean prices were ex Mandi ₹3,600-3,700 and plant delivery ₹3,700-3,800. Soya oil was ₹735 – ₹740 and Soya refined oil was ₹765 – ₹770. At Rajkot : groundnut oil was steady for Telia Tin ₹1,310 (₹1,310) and Loose (10 kg) ₹810 (₹810). Malaysian crude palm oil, April -18 futures settled lower at MYR2,438 (MYR 2,455) and May -18 ended at MYR 2,428 (MYR 2,445). On NCDEX: Soyabean refined oil April -18 was at ₹784.90 (₹786.70) and May-18 was up at ₹787.55 (₹786.80) till evening.

On BCE spot rates (₹/10 kg) were: groundnut oil 850 (855), soya refined oil 765 (765), sunflower exp. ref. 710 (715), sunflower ref. 765 (765), rapeseed ref. oil 790 (790), rapeseed expeller ref. 760 (760), cottonseed ref. oil 750 (755) and Palmolein 714 (710).
