Train services on the Nilgiri Mountain Railway (NMR) will be cancelled between Mettupalayam and Coonoor from Sunday to Tuesday because of heavy rains and landslide near Kallar, the Salem division of Southern Railway has said.
However, NMR train service, which is a tourists’ delight, will be operated between Coonoor and Udhagamandalam as usual.
