Tourism Minister P.A.Mohamed Riyas launching Travlounge app
Travlounge, a roadside facility designed to assist travellers, has received a second round of funding amounting to ₹25 crore from Gokulam Group. This initiative was jointly introduced by Azcco Global and Beacon Group.
Travlounge aims to provide a comprehensive travel experience for both long-distance and short-distance travellers across the country. The facility includes international-standard lounges for relaxation; modern hygienic toilets; sleeping pods for short rest periods; coffee and tea shops.
The concept was first introduced two years ago when Azcco Global, based in the Middle East, invested ₹8 crore in the project. The recent funding from Gokulam Group marks the second phase of investment, indicating growing confidence in the project’s potential.
In conjunction with the physical facilities, the Travlounge travel app has been launched to assist travellers in planning and managing their journeys more efficiently. The app was unveiled by the State’s Tourism Minister, P.A. Mohamed Riyas, during a ceremony attended by Gokulam Group Chairman Gokulam Gopalan, Actress and brand ambassador Mamta Mohandas, and Azcco Global MD Aziz Chovvanchery.
With the backing of significant investments and the launch of the user-friendly app, Travlounge is poised to revolutionise the travel experience in India. The project’s expansion plans include establishing facilities nationwide and ensuring that travellers have access to quality amenities during their journeys.
