Flight operations were disrupted for three hours as dense fog enveloped the international airport here this morning.
Airport sources said that 20 domestic and international flights could not operate from 5.30 AM as fog lowered the visibility to less than 50 metres.
Flight operations resumed partly at 8.45 AM and it will take more time for the normal operations to begin, officials said.
Several planes had to hover in the sky until the fog cleared, the sources said.
