IMImobile, a mobile data solutions provider, has won the multimedia content management solution of the year at the Cloud Africa Awards event hosted in Johannesburg.
The Hyderabad-based company said its DaVinci content management system powers MTN’s mobile content service — ‘MTN Play’ — across 19 countries in Africa and West Asia.
The Cloud Africa Awards recognise the deployments that have overcome the challenges in the diverse African markets and have demonstrated innovation.
IMImobile provides ‘MTN Play’ subscribers with full track music, mobile entertainment such as videos and games, infotainment, premium content sourcing as well as subscription services.
IMImobile’s platform helps MTN to deliver personalised and localised content with a seamless user experience to more than 130 million of its total 164.5 million subscribers, Mr Viswanath Alluri, CEO of IMImobile, said in a statement.
IMImobile provides services to telecom operators, media companies and enterprises.
