The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Company has promised developers who put up solar power projects and sell power to it, payment security mechanism in terms of letters of credit.
''You can tell your bankers that there is absolutely no problem in getting the payment," the Chairman of Tangedco, Gnanadesikan, told prospective bidders at the consultation meeting here today.
He also said that for large projects, such as solar parks, Tangedco will undertake to build evacuation infrastructure.
