Two senior executives have quit Yahoo! India.
Chandrabhanu Pattajoshi, Head of Sales Strategy and Vishal Maheshwari, Senior Director and Head of Monetization at Yahoo! India, have left the company. Yahoo! confirmed the exits of these senior level individuals and a company spokesperson acknowledged the same.
Both these executives are long-term Yahoo! executives.
According to Maheshwari’s LinkedIn profile, he has been with the India operations for 8 years, joining initially as Director for mobile technologies in January 2005 and earlier this year he was appointed to his current position, essentially heading monetisation at Yahoo! India.
Similarly, according to Pattajoshi’s LinkedIn profile, he has been with the company since 2007 and was in charge of building and expanding sales- both internally and externally.
Business Line could not immediately ascertain the next moves of these senior executives. The company in June saw its India and South-East Asia Managing Director, who in the past held a similar position at Monster.com, quitting the company. As per his LinkedIn profile, he is yet to join another firm.
