Aspire Systems, a Chennai-based global technology services company, has announced its six-month-long training programme, SHINE, in collaboration with Universal Higher Education Trust, Vellore.
Formulated with a focus on IT skill development and employability, the programme will enable students from lower economic background from Vellore and its surrounding districts get employment opportunities in the IT sector.
About 20 students have enrolled for the programme. It is being conducted at Vellore Institute of Technology campus.
The focus will be to impart programming skills, enabling students get employment opportunities in the IT sector. Additionally, training in communication and soft skills will also be imparted, says a press release from Aspire.
