The shareholders of CMC will meet here on March 5 to consider and approve the company's Scheme of Amalgamation with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
The meeting has been convened in line with the directions of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to complete the amalgamation process.
Post-amalgamation, the assets and liabilities of CMC would be transferred to TCS. "It will help the two firms evolve joint go-to market strategies," CMC said in a notice to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
