Cognizant, a provider of information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services, has expanded its presence in the Philippines with the opening of a new delivery centre in Pasig City, Metro Manila.
Located in the IT-BPO services hub, Ortigas Center, the centre will accommodate approximately 1,000 professionals, and will deliver a full range of applications, IT infrastructure, and business process services to global clients in the financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, communications, media and entertainment industries.

The new development centre further strengthens our integrated global delivery capability, and our success in leveraging the best talent globally.”
Cognizant began operations in the Philippines in December 2009 to provide business process services to global clients, and has since grown to more than 700 professionals delivering a broad range of services from the company’s existing facilities in Manila.
The company is also working closely with academia in the Philippines to develop talent across a full range of services, and has an active campus recruitment programme in the country.
