IMImobile, a mobile data services provider, will ride on IBM software to enhance its existing services and manage its cloud infrastructure.
The Hyderabad-based company today announced that it has deployed IBM SmartCloud Foundation software. The company is a leading provider of cloud-based mobile data services across Asia, Europe, Americas, Africa and West Asia.
In a press release, IMImobile said its services reach over 900 million people in 64 countries and with operator customers such as Vodafone, O2,Telefonica, France Telecom, Centrica, Barclays Bank, BBC, Aircel, Airtel, BSNL, MTN, Reliance, Tata and Virgin Mobile, the company required a cloud solution that would help answer its growing business requirements.
The deployment of IBM software will help the company further streamline management of its cloud services infrastructure, strengthen compliance with stringent service level agreements etc.
