PC maker, Lenovo, has launched new line of desktops and notebooks aimed at the small and medium businesses, and will increase its presence in smaller towns through resellers and retail outlets this fiscal in order to reach out to this segment.
Lenovo wants to shift to a higher gear in addressing the SMB users in India, where estimates show that 20,000 medium sized businesses and over than a million SOHO (small office home office) and small businesses are willing to make PC purchases, Mr Rajiv Rao, Director - SMB, Lenovo India said. As part of its SMB push, the company has unveiled a range of desktops and notebooks - ten products in all - that are suited to the needs of such businesses. The notebooks and desktops start from price points of Rs 23,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively.
