IT and Product Engineering Services Company, MindTree, has appointed Mr Ramesh Ramanathan as an independent director to its board of directors with effect from May 2, 2012.
Mr Ramanathan is a co-founder of Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy, a non-profit organisation that works on transforming the quality of life in urban India, Chairman of Janalakshmi Social Services and is also the National Technical Advisor, Government of India for the Jawarharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission.
“Ramesh will be a stellar addition to the MindTree board. He brings visionary thinking, capacity to question status quo and personal credibility to effect change. I am very pleased that he accepted our invitation” Mr Subroto Bagchi, Chairman, MindTree said in a statement.
Mr Ramanathan was previously the MD and Head of European Corporate Derivatives in Citibank.
